5:00pm-6:20pm on Saturday 16 March
Pembroke College, Old Library, Trumpington Street, CB2 1RF
Join us for an evening of prayers with members of different faiths. We will be praying for world peace. There will be uplifting music and images, and also an opportunity to get to know one another in small groups. The aim of the evening is to create harmony of spirit, to foster peaceful relations among people of all faiths and beliefs, and to unite us all in praying for world peace in these hard times. Everyone is welcome, no matter the faith or none.
This event is organised with the support of Pembroke College Chapel.
Please note: Interfaith Prayers for Peace will now be a two-part event. The first part will be from 5pm to 6:20 pm. After a dinner break, we will reconvene for a second part, 7:30-8:30pm with more interfaith prayers, music, and an interactive/social time for those who would like to stay. If you are unable to attend at 5pm, you are very welcome to join us from 7.30pm.
Dinner will not be available at the venue. Guests will need to organize their own dinner. Pembroke College is situated a few minutes from central Cambridge.
