TWINED: EXPERIMENTING WITH DIGITAL WRITING USING TWINE

Saturday 29 October: 11:00am - 4:00pm

Anglia Ruskin University, East Road, CB1 1PT

Led by Martin Zeilinger, Lecturer in Media, Anglia Ruskin University, this workshop explores this participative, easy-to-use, and free digital tool for writing interactive, non-linear narratives. Embraced by communities that have previously been marginalised by the institutionalised literary market (such as LGBT communities) Twine enjoys a growing international community of users creating and sharing everything from 21st century choose-your-own-adventure stories to epic novels, text-based games, and experimental digital poetry.

The workshop was originally going to be run by Twine author Anna Anthropy but unfortunately she is unable to due to a scheduling conflict.

We presented a related talk, Writing digital futures, on Friday 28 October.

Presented by Anglia Ruskin University
