How can I book an event?
It is only possible to book one event at a time.
Booking information is available on each event page on the right side.
- Go to Events.
- Search for your event by name or click on the calendar option to view events by date.
- Click on the event you would like to attend.
- Booking information is on the right hand side of the listing.
How much does it cost to attend the festival?
The vast majority of events at the Festival of Ideas are free to attend.
If there is a cost to attend it will be shown below the booking information on the website.
Can I attend an event that is fully booked?
Although Festival events become fully booked, there can be spaces available at the last minute. We suggest that if you are interested in joining a queue for people without reservations, you may do so (15 minutes before the event starts) but we cannot guarantee that spaces will become available.

What happens happens if I arrive late to an event?
The management reserve the right to refuse admission to an event if you arrive late or if the venue is full, even if you have a ticket.
Are your venues accessible for people with limited mobility?
All access information on venues can be found on the last page of the Festival programme [PDF].
