We need volunteers to steward events at this year’s Festival of Ideas either on weekday evenings (17–30 October) or on the main Saturday (22 October). Volunteers are needed to manage queues, supervise activities or provide general information to members of the public. No formal qualifications required – just enthusiasm and reliability!
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to register your interest.
The Festival of Ideas is run by the Public Engagement Team at the University of Cambridge. The Team works across the University and Colleges to support public engagement, community and outreach work. We provide co-ordination of major events practical support, community contacts and advice to nurture charitable, educational and voluntary partnerships between the University and the community.
The programmes we co-ordinate include the Cambridge Science Festival, the Festival of Ideas, Open Cambridge and Bridge the Gap. We provide public engagement advice, training and networks for University staff and students.
