Family-day sharing interactive activities about the latest research across the University's cutting edge Biomedical Campus. Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology is a state-of-the-art Academy School dedicated to educating the next generation of Britain’s scientists, technicians, engineers and programmers. Join us for a fun-day full of interactive family activities and workshops.

See the College’s facilities, find out about its innovative curriculum and roll up your sleeves and experience the excitement of science in our challenge labs. Alongside demonstrations from the Academy, the day will also see activities and hands on opportunities including:

Getting here

The Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology is located next to Long Road Sixth Form College. There is no parking on site.

If you are travelling by public transport, the site can be reached via the Universal bus service run by Whippet. For 2024, the Festival is offering free travel on the service from the Biomedical Campus to our West Cambridge family day taking place on the same day. Pick up your ticket from a member of our staff at the welcome desk.
