Friday 25 October: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Faculty of Education, Donald McIntyre Building, Ground Floor, 184 Hills Road, CB2 8PQ
On average, 2-3 children in the UK classrooms experience language and communication difficulties (Frazier Norbury et al., 2016). The exhibition aims to raise awareness about the Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), its impact on the daily experiences of children and how language development can be supported. A couple of currently used assessment tools (e.g. CELF) will be displayed, research findings will be presented on a board and current PhD researchers in the field will be available to discuss their work.
