A talk at the Botanic Garden by Dr Twigs Way, taking a cynical look at gardening advice from experts in the distant and not so distant past. Should we believe everything we are told?

Down the centuries, gardeners have turned to books of instruction for guidance in choosing, planting and nurturing plants, but should we believe everything we are told? From producing stripy tulips to killing earthworms via salting the asparagus bed, we take a cynical look at some expert advice from the distant and not so distant past.

Free entry to this talk does not include access to the Botanic Garden. Normal Garden admission fees apply for those wishing to enter the Garden.
