Fully booked - TRUE TO NATURE: SEEING, KNOWING AND DRAWING FOSSILS

Saturday 21 October: 11:00am - 12:30pm

Alison Richard Building, CRASSH meeting room, Sidgwick Site 7 West Road, CB3 9DT

This is a collaborative event organized by historians interested in how scientific images are made, and the curators of the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences. In this event, we first ask you to draw some mystery objects from the Sedgwick Museum. A curator will then explain to you what the objects are, and our art instructor will give you some drawing tips. You will then have a chance to draw the object again. How will your drawing change? No prior experience of drawing or knowledge of earth sciences is required. Suitable for young teenagers upwards.
Organised by the 'Making Visible' research project at CRASSH.
