JANE HILL: ADDICTED TO FUN

Wednesday 23 October: 7:45pm - 8:45pm

University Centre, CUC Wine Bar, Granta Place Mill Lane, CB2 1RU

Jane used to be fun. By fun, she means drunk. She’s been sober for 16 years but still misses the buzz of getting rat-arsed, slaughtered and various other euphemisms. Is it even possible for an uptight British woman to have fun without being drunk? Addicted to Fun is a frank and funny show about anxiety, sex and booze - and how doing without it can change your life.

Last year at the Edinburgh Fringe it played to packed rooms and earned a five-star review. In 2018, Jane reached the final of the moderately prestigious national competition Old Comedian of the Year.

“Throughout, she holds the room in the palm of her hand, with a stream of laughs only interrupted by knowing nods through the set-ups, erupting into laughs again at punchlines. The audience enjoyed her so much they almost forgot to drink their pints!” ***** (One4Review.co.uk).
