The Centre for Intercultural Musicology at Churchill College will curate an experiential session on mindfulness, breathwork, motion and music. The aim of this interactive public engagement event is to promote relaxation using established wellness techniques through innovative and enjoyable means. It will be led by:

• Professor Roberto Benzo, pulmonologist, Director, Mindful Breathing Laboratory, Mayo Clinic

• Professor Abid Amir, cardiothoracic surgeon Consultant, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah

• Dr Dong Barraclough, tai chi/qiqong practitioner Instructor, British Health Qiqong Association

• Dr James Boyle, pianist, Dean, National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage

• Professor Valerie Ross, composer, Director, Centre for Intercultural Musicology at Churchill College
